BISECER (Business Economic Entrepreneurship)
1. General Provisions
BISECER (Business Economic Entrepreneurship) is a scholarly journal that publishes academic and scientific works in the fields of civil engineering, construction engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, water resources engineering, construction materials, and related technological disciplines in accordance with the journal's aims and scope.
All submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published as journal articles and are not simultaneously under consideration by another journal. Each manuscript is evaluated based on its relevance to the journal's scope, originality, methodological quality, scientific contribution, and compliance with publication ethics.
2. Original Research Articles
Original Research Articles present findings from original scientific investigations conducted using quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, experimental, descriptive, comparative, numerical modeling, laboratory testing, field investigations, or other research approaches relevant to economics, management and accounting.
Original Research Articles must include, at a minimum, the following components:
-
Title: A clear and informative title that accurately reflects the focus and scope of the research.
-
Abstract and Keywords: A concise summary of the research objectives, methodology, principal findings, and conclusions, accompanied by relevant keywords.
-
Introduction: An explanation of the research background, problem statement, research gaps, and objectives, supported by relevant scientific literature.
-
Research Methods: A detailed description of the research design, data sources, materials, equipment, data collection techniques, experimental procedures, and analytical methods, as applicable.
-
Results: A systematic and objective presentation of research findings supported by appropriate data, tables, figures, or other relevant evidence.
-
Discussion: A critical interpretation of the findings, including their relationship to existing scientific literature, theoretical frameworks, and previous research.
-
Conclusion: A summary of the principal findings that addresses the research objectives and explains the scientific contributions, practical implications, or potential applications of the study.
-
References: A list of relevant, credible, and verifiable scientific references that support the research.
Original Research Articles must demonstrate a clear scientific contribution and employ appropriate and reliable research methodologies that effectively address the stated research problems.
3. Review Articles
Review Articles provide a comprehensive and critical synthesis of existing scientific knowledge, theories, concepts, methodologies, technological developments, or research findings within the fields covered by BISECER (Business Economic Entrepreneurship).
Review Articles may include systematic literature reviews, integrative reviews, scoping reviews, or critical reviews, provided that the methods and approaches used are clearly and transparently described.
A Review Article must establish clear research questions or objectives, apply a systematic and justifiable literature search and selection strategy, provide an in-depth critical analysis of the relevant literature, and demonstrate a meaningful contribution to scientific knowledge or technological advancement.
Manuscripts that merely summarize existing publications without providing critical synthesis, comprehensive analysis, or a clearly identifiable academic contribution do not meet the standards required for Review Articles.
4. Requirements for All Manuscript Types
All submitted manuscripts must:
-
Comply with the Journal's Aims and Scope: Address topics relevant to civil engineering, engineering technology, or related disciplines covered by the journal.
-
Maintain Academic Language Standards: Use clear, accurate, consistent, and appropriate academic language throughout the manuscript.
-
Follow the Journal's Formatting Guidelines: Adhere to the prescribed manuscript structure, formatting requirements, and official journal template.
-
Provide Relevant Scientific References: Include appropriate, credible, and verifiable references that support the research context, methodology, findings, and discussion.
-
Ensure Methodological Transparency: Adequately describe data sources, research methods, experimental procedures, analytical techniques, and other relevant methodological information to support scientific evaluation and reproducibility.
-
Comply with Publication Ethics: Fulfill the journal's requirements concerning originality, research ethics, authorship, conflicts of interest, and responsible scientific publication.
-
Undergo Editorial and Peer-Review Evaluation: Follow all required stages of editorial screening, peer review, and manuscript revision in accordance with the journal's editorial policies.
5. Editorial Screening and Decision
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance to the journal's aims and scope, administrative completeness, basic scientific quality, manuscript preparation standards, and compliance with publication ethics.
Manuscripts that satisfy the initial screening requirements may proceed to the peer-review process for further scientific evaluation.
BISECER (Business Economic Entrepreneurship) reserves the right to request revisions, reject submissions, or discontinue the editorial evaluation process if manuscripts fail to meet the journal's scientific standards, editorial requirements, or publication ethics policies.
The acceptance of manuscripts for publication is determined solely on the basis of scientific merit, relevance, originality, methodological rigor, and the final editorial decision.
